We are calling all owners of vehicles with temporary WoF extensions expiring on 10th October 2020 to arrange inspections now at their nearest VINZ Vehicle Testing Station.
Waka Kotahi (NZTA) confirmed, last week that approximately 620,000 WoF extension inspections are still to be completed, on top of those naturally expiring in September and October 2020.
Sean Stevens CEO for VINZ states “this is going to put enormous pressure on the industry and our teams, however we will do everything we can to support our customers and ensure they can drive safely and legally”.
Our simple message to owners of vehicles that were granted the extension is get it inspected NOW.

There is only four weeks to go until the extension ends, and Sean Stevens urges vehicle owners to “keep vehicle safety top of mind as we approach school holidays and the road to summer”.
