VINZ customer survey prize draw – terms and conditions
- The Vehicle Inspection New Zealand Ltd (VINZ) Customer Survey Prize Draw (Prize Draw) is open to VINZ customers aged 18 and over who have purchased a VINZ service within the two month period prior to entry and have submitted a completed VINZ Customer Survey.
- Employees of VINZ and its related companies, their family members, and anyone else connected with the Prize Draw may not enter the Prize Draw.
- Entrants into the Prize Draw are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
- Only one entry per VINZ service for the specified vehicle registration number is permitted. Entries on behalf of another person and joint submissions are not allowed.
- VINZ accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by VINZ.
- The Prize Draw is drawn once every two months from 31 May 2016 until 31 December 2017. The closing date of the Prize Draw is the last calendar day of the month in the two month period in which the Survey was completed.
- The draw will take place on the first business day after the last calendar day of the two month period.
- The winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will be performed by a random computer process.
- There will be one prize for each Prize Draw of a $250 grocery store voucher for a store of VINZ’s choice.
- VINZ accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.
- The winners of a Prize Draw will be notified by email. Prize winners must provide VINZ with a postal address to claim their prize. Prizes will be sent by post. VINZ accepts no responsibility for any delays in the postal service or failure by the postal service to deliver the prize.
- If a winner does not respond within 14 days of being notified of their win by VINZ, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and VINZ shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
- If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is found to be invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and VINZ shall be entitled to select another winner.
- Any prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or any other prize.
- VINZ retains the right to substitute the prize offered with another prize of similar value in the event that the prize offered is unavailable for reasons outside of VINZ’ control.
- As a condition of entry in the Prize Draw, the winners may be required to take part in promotional activity related to the Prize Draw and the winners shall participate in such activity if requested to do so. The winners consent to the use by VINZ and its related companies, both before and after the closing date of the Prize Draw, for an unlimited time, of the winners’ voices, images, photographs and names for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs, films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by VINZ and its related companies) and in any advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice. In entering the Prize Draw, all entrants consent to these Terms and Conditions.
- VINZ accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liability, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by any entrants or proposed entrants as a result of entering or attempting to enter the Prize Draw or accepting or failing to accept the prize. VINZ further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to any person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Prize Draw.
- VINZ reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Prize Draw with or without prior notice, due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud).
- VINZ shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
